As we move into another year of remote reference service, the Law Library’s team of reference librarians are offering you more ways to connect with us for help with your research.
We are available to help with navigating library resources, citations, and more. We can also share our screen with you on Zoom to demo searches.
There are three ways you can reach us:
- Email us at lawref@osgoode.yorku.ca. This account is regularly monitored weekdays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
- Schedule a Zoom session with us at a specific time using the Book a Research Appointment feature on our home page. Appointments are available weekdays from 10 AM to 1 PM, except Wednesdays.
- Take advantage of our virtual drop-in reference service weekdays between 1 PM and 4 PM. This service is available on a first come, first served basis, similar to an in-person reference desk in the library. To chat with a reference librarian go to https://yorku.zoom.us/j/93376747402. If the reference librarian is already meeting with someone you’ll need to wait, but we’ll be with you as soon as we can.
Wishing you a successful year and looking forward to working with you!
The Reference team: Sharona Brookman, Elyse Hill, Ilana Newman,Daniel Perlin (returning from sabbatical in January) and Sharon Wang, Acting Head of Public Services
